Canyoning
Not
for the faint hearted. Descend spectacular gorges in the most
adventurous fashion. Once commited you jump or abseil down a
series of waterfalls into deep plunge pools. Wetsuits, helmets,
harnesses and buoyancy aids are all provided. The trips are
generally a whole day with a short abseil session to begin with so that
you have the required skills for when you enter the Canyon and also
allows us to include more waterfalls that will need to be abseiled.
It is possible to do a 1/2 day Canyon which will be a shorter section of the Gorge.
Minimum age is 16 years.
Cost is:
- £75pp
for the full day - reccomended to get the most out of the acitvity -
this price includes a "practise abseil" at a local quarry, learn the
techniques without standing round waiting in the cold water !
- £50pp for half day - we would recommend for a half day session for you to be competent abseilers

All activities are subject to a £1.50 booking fee per person.
- These are
private sessions and prices are based on a minimum of 4 in
the group.

- Private Session for you and your group
- Qualified Instructors who will meet you at the site to save your travel time and fuel

- Pre session introduction (showing you how to put on any necessary safety kit)
- Time at the end to walk back to cars and return kit to Instructor
