Canoe and Bush Craft

Enjoy an afternoon on a catamaran canoe trip to an uninhabited island or secluded beach (either Lake Windermere or Coniston Water). Prepare to cook your lunch or afternoon tea using “leave no trace” techniques. Light your fire, boil your kettle, cook your food. Sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labour. Take time to explore the woods, watch the wildlife, or take a dip in the lake.

 Canoeing is most popular in the warmer months of April to October, however we run catamaran canoes throughout the year, weather permitting. For the less adventurous, we can introduce you to the Kelly kettle cooking in a sheltered natural woodland setting.

Prices from:

• £40 for an adult (Afternoon Tea cooked using a Kelly Kettle)
• £35 for a child (under 18 years)  .
• £65pp for cooking lunch.  All food/drink provided
• These are private sessions and prices are based on a minimum of 4 in the group.

• Mid Week discounts maybe available - please ring.           

Included in the 1/2 day:

• Private Session for you and your group
• Qualified Instructors who will meet you at the site to save your travel time and fuel
• All safety equipment
• Pre session introduction (showing you how to put on any necessary safety kit)
• Aprox 3 + hours on the activity itself, longer if cooking lunch
• Time at the end to walk back to cars and return kit to Instructor
